Bubba Ray, Ag Horse Known to Many, Dies of Colic

Bubba Ray, a well-known and beloved horse in the ag program, died last week of colic.

WOODBURY — One of the horses in Nonnewaug’s ag program, Bubba Ray, died this past week of colic, according to the Woodbury FFA Instagram.

“It is with heavy hearts, we let everyone know this past week that we lost one of our beloved horses at the school to colic,” the post reads. “Bubba Ray was a great teacher for the students and was a go to horse for many of the beginner students!”

Rest in peace, Bubba Ray — you will be missed.
