The 64th Annual Grammy Awards were held April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. We saw fan favorite celebrities hit the red carpet, resembling playful and diverse looks. From Olivia Rodrigo’s performance to best outfits and questionable looks, here is the Grammys recap.

Performances

Olivia Rodrigo started off the night by performing one of her most popular songs: “drivers license.” Her performance was playful with a touch of punk. Rodrigo also went home with three Grammy awards that were well deserved.

Iconic singer Billie Eilish performed her popular song “Happier Than Ever.” Fans were left in tears after her touching performance.

Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X brought energy to the Grammy stage, as they both performed their debut single “Industry Baby.” It’s safe to say their performance was a big hit.

“I loved BTS’s performance because it was really creative,” said junior Zoie Cole. “It was unique and I had never seen a performance like that before.”

Best Dressed

Dua Lipa arrived at the red carpet wearing the iconic Versace vintage bondage dress. Lipa paired it with gold accessories, matching perfectly with black. No one can do it better than Dua Lipa.

Lady Gaga was another fan favorite. At the red carpet, Gaga displayed an Old Hollywood inspired outfit. Gaga wore an Armani Prive gown, and accessorized the look with Tiffany and Co. jewelry.

“My favorite looks from the Grammys were Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA and so many more celebrities,” said Emily Crawford, junior. “I love the way they were styled to the person and theme. I specifically love Lady Gaga’s because she went for a timeless classic look that also accompanied well to the song she performed.”

Worst Dressed

Singer Justin Bieber hit the red carpet with an oversized gray suit designed by David Byrne-ian pairing it along with Crocs. While Bieber typically displays a favorite style in baggy clothes, his outfit disappointed for the Grammys. Model Hailey Bieber also was not a fan favorite at the Grammys. Hailey arrived at the red carpet wearing a loose fitting, silk gown by Saint Laurent. While the look resembled elegance, it appeared more of a nightgown rather than a Grammy’s dress.
