WOODBURY — As seniors get ready to advance in life, the upcoming final exams serve as one final obstacle. With the early graduation dates, seniors cram to get ready for finals, taking them before the other students at Nonnewaug. This upcoming schedule is a creative close for the class of 2022.

Exams for seniors will begin June 13 and conclude June 17, just before seniors say their goodbyes. Built into the exam schedule will be two graduation rehearsals right before commencement June 18. While the dates of final exams are clear, students need to adjust to this new format.

Seniors should receive review packets and information from their teachers,” said assistant principal Taryn Fernandez. “We have shared the schedule through the last few parent updates, and I just shared it on the Whole School Classroom as well.”

While seniors will be taking exams, the rest of the classes will continue normally as only seniors are permitted to take their tests at this time. All other students will take exams June 20-23.

During senior exams for classes with mixed grade levels, teachers may have to administer both a regular lesson and exams simultaneously. This is different from previous years, but is necessary for seniors to wrap up their year before graduation.
