MINI-DOC: Bowling Helps Students Relieve Stress

For generations, bowling has been a fun way for friends to enjoy a night out.

WOODBURY — Ten pins, a heavy ball, and some oiled hardwood are all some students need to relieve their stress.

Bowling is a popular pastime among some Nonnewaug students, and they say that’s because it’s a fun way to be competitive with friends and forget about any stresses for a while. Mental health professionals agree, too, that engaging in a group activity like bowling can have significant mental health benefits.
