WOODBURY — There are plenty of famous murder cases that many people know by name, but what about all the people who have been killed and forgotten? The countless cases that are never solved become cold cases, and most of those cases fade away without much attention.

Thanks to interest on TikTok, some cold cases are coming back to light. This is the continuation of a trend that generates all sorts of interest in true crime, as seen by the popularity of true-crime programming on Netflix and other streaming apps.
