Scenes from Fall Spirit Week: Monochromatic and Dynamic Duo Days

Math teachers, from left, Jamie Lisevick, Ray Robillard, Nicole Cowles, and Laurenn Bertoglio pose as the Cookie Monster, a chocolate chip cookie, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich Oct. 17. It was the second day of fall spirit week, Dynamic Duo Day.

WOODBURY — Groutfits, chipmunks, and sandwiches strolled through the halls of Nonnewaug High School to kick off fall spirit week.

Monochromatic Day on Oct. 16 gave students the opportunity to dress all in one color — all-gray outfits, nicknamed groutfits — while Dynamic Duo Day on Oct. 17 called on the best tag-team costume ideas to come out.

The rest of fall spirit week includes PJs Day on Oct. 18 during PSATs, Ken and Barbie Pink-Out Day on Oct. 19 for the homecoming sports pink-out, and Color Wars on Oct. 20.
