Nonnewaug Softball Snags Win From Terryville (PHOTOS)

WOODBURY — The Nonnewaug softball team routed Terryville, 17-2, on April 22.

Freshman Scarlett Ivey allowed just four hits and struck out eight to earn the victory. At the plate, she hit a pair of two-run homers and added another single and two more runs scored. Maryn Savarese and Samantha Sorcher had doubles for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are 6-4 entering the second half of the regular season, which begins April 30 against Wilby.
