The Chief Advocate’s editorial staff has selected Nonnewaug senior swimmer Kyle Viveros and junior swimmer Grace Walkup as the school’s March Athletes of the Month.
Viveros placed among the top 20 in two individual events at the Class S state championships, finishing 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 16th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Walkup was Nonnewaug’s only female swimmer to qualify for an individual event at the Class S state championships, placing 19th in the 500-yard freestyle.
