WOODBURY — The Northwest United girls lacrosse team suffered a loss against Watertown on May 6.
Sophomore Mariah Manzano feels the team did great despite the 22-13 score.
“I feel the Watertown game was one of the best games we have played all season,” said Manzano. “We came together as a team and worked together until the very end to try and beat one of the best teams in our league. For a new team we kept up with them for a very long time and we put up a fight. They just had better skilled players and that happens. But watch out, we’re coming back harder and better next season.”
