WOODBURY — Spooky season brought out the costumes at Nonnewaug. Many students and staff members chose to dress up as a variety of different characters and creatures on Halloween.
Melissa Hodges, a chemistry teacher at Nonnewaug, dressed up as Mrs. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus, and her outfit featured her popular periodic table sneakers.
“I love acting like a giant kid,” says Hodges. “I have fun just looking silly and making kids laugh.”
Other costumes seen throughout the day included a hacker, a strawberry, a witch, and a wizard.
