Student Council Spreads Candy Cane Cheer (PHOTOS)

WOODBURY — ‘Tis the season to spread holiday cheer. For Nonnewaug’s Student Council, that cheer came in the form of a few hundred candy canes.

Student Council members spent time after school Dec. 19 writing handwritten “Happy Holidays” tags and attaching them to candy canes. Then, they went to the campus parking lot and hung those 300 candy canes on every car’s driver’s side door handle during Period 4 on Dec. 20.
