Anybody who spends time around students at Nonnewaug knows the variety of different hobbies that students are involved in. In Chris Pelletier’s case it’s Vehicle photography. He started this hobby six years ago at the age of eleven by seeing other people do it on Instagram. “I watched other creators on the app share their content and grow from it, so I decided to do it myself. I’m confident that one day it will get recognition.”
He now has his own Instagram account called @pelletier_productions that he posts his photos on. Ranging from daily drivers to muscle cars and trucks, he’s got a series of photoshoots and hundreds of photos to show off in his collection. Not only does he do photos, but he has expanded his horizon to videos too–posting full videos to his Instagram account all the time.
Wesley Clow, a close friend and someone who has gotten a photoshoot done by Chris, said, “I absolutely loved them, loved the detail, the time, dedication, etc. of everything he does and did just to make the photos. He spent hours of his own time at home editing the photos just to make sure I would like them, or they would look like something straight out of a cartoon. He has some serious talent and is gonna go really far in life with that. I could go on and on about how much I love the photos.”
Wesley added that he believes Chris has a potential career in photography.
“I absolutely love that he loves it, anything that makes me or my friends happy has a good spot in my heart. And if he feels very strongly about it, and tries really hard with it in the future, there is not a doubt in my mind he can be a professional photographer.”
With Chris’s dedication to photography, he hopes his name can get around and grow. It’s already started with a like on one of his Instagram videos from @whipplesuperchargers who make performance superchargers for engines.
