WOODBURY — Nonnewaug students dressed in red filled the gym Feb. 7 to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Students competed in several events: tug of war, Oreo scavenger hunt, musical chairs and many more.
But eventually the juniors took home the dub, beating the other grades for a repeat of last year.
Sophomore Cam Jones felt that this year’s pep rally was done for a good cause.
“The red-out was a really cool event and it was nice to see the school come together to support and raise money for a good cause,” said Jones.
