WOODBURY — Crumbl Cookie is a food chain that recently gained tons of popularity due to the fact they make large cookies in very unique flavors.
Every week, there are different flavors. I, in particular, am in favor of this sweet treat. Some people love Crumbl, and Nonnewaug junior McKenna Hardisty is one of those fans.
“I like that they have new flavors every week, and they change the lineup all the time,” says Hardisty.
Another person who is in favor of Crumbl is sophomore Aubrie Salisbury.
“It’s gonna be a new flavor every week,” Salisbury says, “and they’re all very unique. That’s why I like it.”
But others have a different perspective on the growing popular cookie.
“I dislike Crumbl Cookie because I think they could make similar quality tasting products,” said junior Gianna Geraci.
Ellie Bruce, an NHS hall monitor, thinks that the cookies could be made less expensive, but overall doesn’t mind the taste of the cookie.
“They’re grossly overpriced, but the taste is all right — nothing crazy,” says Bruce. “But I do like the presentation with the pink boxes it comes in.”
Some people are caught on the line of whether they like the sweet treat or if they don’t.
“The ingredients are too much and the calories are too high, but the taste is good,” said junior Sean Crawford.
Besides the taste, the price could be a little concerning, which could push people away from getting the cookie. For a pack of six, the price is set at $24.99, and a pack of 12 is set at $47.99. These prices are for the regular size cookie.
The mini cookies, which I personally prefer, are overall better and more convenient. A pack of six is $16.99 and a pack of 12 is $29.99, so it’s a lot cheaper.
I personally think that the price for the big cookies is a little much and the calories are just outrageous. I mean, why are there enough calories in one cookie to make a whole meal?
That’s why if I go for the minis, it’s overall a better choice. Another factor is that I can try all of the flavors and not waste a whole lot of money if I don’t like a flavor, while the other reason is because I won’t consume as many calories.
At the end of the day, how can you pass up a Crumbl Cookie? They’re just amazing.
