WOODBURY – “When I think of Everett, I think about how responsible and smart he is,” explained Seamus Ryan.
Everett Pierce, a junior at Nonnewaug High School, is always a pleasure to have in class. He tries his best to keep his grades as high as he can while playing sports like soccer and lacrosse this spring.
Along with sports, he’s a part of the student media club and Nonnewaug writing center. He helps these clubs by recording sporting events. He also works to support LLS.
Almost everyone that knows Everett has something nice to say about him. Billy Herr said, ¨Yeah Everett, he’s a very nice fellow. He’s very motivated and work-driven.”
Everett described what an average day looks like for him as, “Nothing too special, school, try to work as hard as I can on assignments and then relax and do stuff I enjoy when I get home.”
Teachers have good things to say about Everett too. Mr. Guerette explained that, “He works hard and is very dependable. He’s not a super talkative kid so when he does talk, it’s usually worth listening to.”
Everett’s commitment to both his academics and extracurriculars reflects his strong sense of time management and determination. Whether it’s on the field, in the classroom, or in his involvement with clubs, he consistently gives his best effort.
His ability to balance his many responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude and staying humble has earned him the respect of his peers and teachers alike. It’s clear that Everett not only excels in his personal pursuits but also inspires those around him to strive for greatness.
Everett Pierce is a model student, athlete and friend. It’s no wonder that he’s such an important part of Nonnewaug. His contributions to LLS, the school community and the student media club show Everett’s dedication.
His quiet yet impactful leadership style has made him a role model for younger students, encouraging them to get involved and make the most of their high school experience.
