NHS Softball Boasts a Undefeated Record in Hopes of Gaining BL Title

WOODBURY — Spring sports have always been a big part of Nonnewaug. This year the softball team is staring there season undefeated with a record of 13-0.

Junior captain Elizabeth Boisits is really amazed with the team this year. 

“I think the season is going very well,” Boisits said. “The team is doing great, on and off of the field.”

Boisits has been loving the relationships the team is having with one another.

“The relationships we have all gained with each other are unmatched,” Boisits adds, “I think it is great that we are undefeated and I believe we will continue to hold a good record.”

Arabella Rosa is a senior at Nonnewaug and a second-year journalist for the Chief Advocate, now taking the role of a senior sports editor. She is from Watertown and is studying aquaculture in the agriscience program. She loves to cook and once she graduates from NHS she wants to go to culinary school to become a professional chef. She also wants a black lab and a German shepherd when she is older. Rosa is also part of the NHS girl’s basketball team. During her free time, she enjoys watching sunsets, jet skiing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Savannah Czerepacha is a senior and a sports editor for the Chief Advocate. She is a part of the ag program and is studying aquaculture. She plays for the NHS soccer, track, and basketball teams. She also has a pet pig named Lightning and two axolotls.
