My senior year has been the worst out of the last four years in high school.
You may ask, why is it so bad now that it’s your last year?
It is terrible because of all the crap they make us do.
WHY DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE NWEA? I am a senior; I already suffered enough with the SATs.
To be completely honest with you, senior year is exhausting and I do not care anymore.
I do not care about any more assignments and tests. I just want to go to class and look like I am doing something while playing Google snake on my Chromebook.
I have a complete RBF because I do not care. This year, I learned not to care. I am leaving in a few weeks and nothing matters.
I can admit that this year has gone super fast, but as a senior, you are put on raised standards.
Senior field trip, senior field day, yearbook signing party, National Decision Day – all of it just bothers me.
I wake up every morning and I say to myself, why do I have to be at school? Seniors this and that, blah, blah, blah. Just let us be.
Junior year had to be the best because there was no stress about graduating and having to change your entire life to prepare for life after high school. I already had senioritis that year. I knew I had one more year, but I knew that year was going to put a lot of stress on my plate so, junior year I did not care.
Also some of these final rules really bother me. You have to have a 90 to be exempt from a final, and Mr. Brennan can’t give me two more points in journalism.
So many teachers are stubborn and it makes me not want to do anything in class.
I am done now. I’m too lazy to finish this piece.
