WOODBURY — Second-grade students from Ansonia visited Nonnewaug High School on Wednesday to check out the ag program.
Many students who currently take ag showed off all the fun and invigorating features the agriculture programs have to offer.
Junior ag student Elsie Crocco helped show a different group of elementary school students around the building Tuesday. She said she enjoys answering all the questions students have.
“I enjoy showing them what we get to do,” Crocco said. “I love to answer a lot of questions about how we manage to do this at school, a lot of questions on how we have them at our school so getting to explain to them how we get that opportunity.”
Crocco also appreciates the chance to be able to get the chance to show students how ag works.
“Just making it inviting since in a few years they can come here and do the same thing,” Crocco said. “It’s just really cool since they are the future of our program and it’s cool to get to see them see our program.”
