Maia Colavito is a freshman at Nonnewaug High School and writes for the NHS Chief Advocate as a reporter. Last year, one of her journalism stories was published on the NHS Chief Advocate under the Junior Chief Advocate, which is what led her to take journalism this year. Maia plays soccer and track for Nonnewaug. She enjoys writing about sports and new happenings in the community.
