FFA Officers to Host Flanders Cleanup Event Nov. 18

Flanders Nature Center and the Woodbury FFA Chapter officer team are planning to host a trail cleanup day.

The cleanup event will take place at Flanders Nature Center located at 596 Flanders Road in Woodbury. The event will be held Nov. 18 from 2-4:30 p.m. after online school.

“These trails are enjoyed by many members of the community, we saw this as a chance to give back to our community,” said Hannah Kostka, the Woodbury FFA Chapter secretary.

The Chapter officer team is hosting this to give back to their community because Flanders has been a huge supporter of the Woodbury FFA Chapter over the years. During the pandemic, help has been hard to find but very appreciated.

This is a great way to give back to the community while racking up community service hours for college applications or National Honor Societies. Ag students can sign up for the event on the Woodbury FFA Google Classroom.
