BETHLEHEM — Every year, the Bethlehem Fair is alive with numerous exhibitors along with the public. The Woodbury FFA plays a large role in these numbers; whether it’s volunteering, showing, or just watching, many students take time out of their weekend to support the fair, which happened this year from Sept. 6-8.
Ella Wisniewski, a sophomore in the FFA and also a second-year member of the Edelweiss Valley 4-H club, showed her sheep along with volunteering at the FFA’s yearly booth.
“I decided to help out at the FFA booth because I felt that as a Sophomore Block officer, I should help kids learn about the FFA early on,” Wisniewski states.
While Wisniewski helped at the booth she tried to make it as enjoyable as possible for the kids.
“When a kid walked by, I would talk to them and hopefully get them interested in the booth,” she states.
Nikki Perssico, a senior in the FFA, explains her view from walking around the fair.
“I really enjoyed seeing my fellow classmates showing their animals along with taking care of them,” Perssico explains.
Perssico said she was glad she was able to really see what many of her classmates do in their free time after and before school.
By the end of the weekend, many members of the Woodbury FFA were in attendance at the Bethlehem Fair. They were able to show, watch, volunteer, and much more.
