VIDEO – Spring Break Vacation Destinations from NHS Students

WOODBURY — Spring has sprung, and NHS students are looking to take advantage of the week off of school that comes with it.

Many students look to Spring break as a way to leave behind all the stress of high school. What better way to do that than by going on vacation?

From Florida, to Rhode Island, to The Dominican Republic, NHS students share they’re getaway plans for the most anticipated break of the year.

Bryce Gilbert ’28, Reporter

Bryce Gilbert is a freshman at Nonnewaug High School, and she’s a first-year journalist for NHS Chief Advocate. She lives in Woodbury and is a part of the agriscience program. Along with her writing, and the ag program, she is also a part of Nonnewaug’s sports program. She plays soccer, basketball, and runs track.

Aubrey Waldron ’27, Reporter

Aubrey Waldron is a sophomore at Nonnewaug High School. She is from Beacon Falls and is a part of the agriscience program at Nonnewaug. She is currently interested in vet science and large animal production. When not in school, she is busy with volleyball, swimming, and softball, along with being with friends andfamily. As a first-year reporter, she is interested in writing about the sports and student life here at Nonnewaug.
