Ava Hirleman ’27, Features Editor

Ava Hirleman is a sophomore at Nonnewaug. Ava is from Bethlehem, and it’s her second year being a part of the Chief Advocate — this year becoming an editor. When she’s not writing for the Chief Advocate, she plays both field hockey and tennis, and she enjoys hanging out with friends.

Iris Messore, sophomore at Nonnewaug gets handed a purple tardy slip, also known as the lunch detention slip, as a consequence of coming into school after the 7:25 bell. This lunch detention is new to the NHS this fall, with just one tardy u get a lunch detention that same day.
