Roden, Ivey NHS’ October Athletes of the Month

The Chief Advocate’s editorial staff has selected Northwest United football senior quarterback Ben Roden and Nonnewaug cross country freshman runner Scarlett Ivey as the school’s October’s Athletes of the Month.

Roden led the Workhorses to their second straight state playoff appearance and surpassed 2,000 passing yards by the end of the regular season. Ivey helped the Chiefs win the Berkshire League cross country championship thanks to her third-place individual finish.
