More Scenes from Juniors’ Red-Out Pep Rally Win (PHOTOS)

WOODBURY — Nonnewaug’s junior class won the winter pep rally on Feb. 2, scoring half a point more than the freshman class. To achieve this win, they had to work together and use communication skills to strategize against the other classes during a paper snowman building contest, a basketball game against staff members, tug of war, and red-light-green-light.

Sophia Caldarella, junior at Nonnewaug, says that her class did its best and worked hard together.

“I feel like we really worked our hardest, whether it was communicating with each other or putting out new strategies,” Caldarella said. “I feel like even without talking, we all have some kind of a connection with each other, and I think that helped us work together as a team.”
