The Chief Advocate’s editorial staff has selected Nonnewaug sophomore pitcher T.J. Angiolini and Nonnewaug senior utility player Hannah Searles as the school’s April Athletes of the Month.
Angiolini racked up a 4-1 pitching record with a 3.00 ERA and a .171 batting average against during the first month of the season. He also posted a .343 batting average with eight RBI, eight runs, two doubles, and a triple.
Searles was one of the hottest bats for the Chiefs during the first month, hitting .439 with 14 runs, 12 RBI, two home runs, and two doubles through the first 12 games.
