The JV girls came in and set the tone.
“This year’s team has good chemistry,” said Olivia Penrosa. “We pass the ball very well, so even when we make mistakes we bounce back, and we play good defense.”
Although this year’s team has young players, coach Zachery Masito has proven he can lead the JV girls to success.
“He’s a good coach,” said Gia Savarese. “He shows good leadership and responsibility and proves that every girl has potential and makes them believe they can be the best.”
Overall they got the win 40-21, with Gia Savarese scoring 11 points, Maiah Rodriguez scoring 6 points, and Julliana Fazzino scoring 5 points.
