WOODBURY—The Nonnewaug Chiefs’ boys baseball team came out on top over Shepaug in a 10-0, five inning slug-fest. The Chiefs had lost to Shepaug in the previous five games, beating them back in 2023, the year of their CIAC Class M State Championship.

The Chiefs will continue their homestand with a game against Gilbert, Monday at 3:45, where they look to add onto their 4-game win streak, as well as their 7-1 record.
