WOODBURY — Rain, rain, go away.

The dark clouds and wet weather throughout late March and early April have negatively impacted Nonnewaug’s spring sports schedule. The rain has caused games to be canceled, practices to move indoors, and athletes to feel generally bummed out by the dreary conditions.

The latest schedule changes came April 12, when the baseball, softball, and tennis teams all had competitions canceled because of heavy rainfall.

Between the rainy weather and inconsistent practice schedules during spring break, the first month of spring sports season is off to a spotty start.
